Poe Paddy State Park
Poe Paddy State Park is a quaint 23 acre park at the convergence of Big Poe Creek and Penns Creek. Poe Paddy lies at site of Poe Mills, a lumbering town in the 1880s and 1890s. The park is known as a trout anglers paradise and features the nationally recognized green drake mayfly hatch in late spring.

Camping
The campsites are Poe Paddy are wooded campsites. The park features 34 campsites in a mix of electric and non-electric sites. The pads are relatively level. Note that there are only pit toilets at the campground. Water is available at campground.
Hiking
Hiking at Poe Paddy is limited. There are numerous trails in Bald Eagle State Forest. See Poe Valley for additional hiking.
John Snyder Trail (1mi, easiest hiking): The John Snyder Trail is a fun hike from the campground at Poe Paddy to the Poe Paddy Tunnel along Penns Creek.
Penns Creek Rail Trail (3mi, easiest hiking): Penns Creek Rail Trail journeys through the Poe Paddy tunnel and continues for 3 miles. The Poe Paddy Tunnel is a former railroad tunnel converted for hiking and biking purposes.
