Codorus State Park

Codorus State Park is a 3500 acre park in southern York County.  The park features a 1275 acre lake with 26 miles of shoreline.  Lake Marburg is a popular boating and warmwater fishing lake.

Camping

Codorus State Park Campground is divided into 4 loops.  Loop A contains non-electric sites.  Loop B contains electric an full hookup sites. Loop C contains a mixture of non-electric, electric, and full hookup sites.  Loop D contains electric sites.  The campground is open the second Friday in April to November 1.  Sites are generally level.  The campsite features a mixture of shaded and full sun sites.  Loop D is primarily full sun sites.

Hiking

LaHo Trail  (1.7 mi loop, easiest hiking):  Park at the trailhead parking lot off of PA 216.  The LaHo Trail is an easy trail for with a couple of steep parts.  The trail follows the shoreline of Wildasin Flats.  Portions of the trail are muddy and slick.  The trail is generally narrow as hugs the hillside.  At the end of the trail, you must walk the shoulder of the road back to the trailhead.

Boating/Fishing

Lake Marburg at Codorus is an 1275 acre warm water lake with seven boat launces.  Boats up to 20 hp are permitted on the lake.  Even though large motor boats are permitted, there are numerous coves that are tailored for canoeing and kayaking.   

Disc Golf

The Codorus Disk Golf Course is a 54 hole disc golf course that is rated one of the most challenging in Pennsylvania.  The course is located at the entrance to the Marina Day Use area
